50+ bookmark ideas

BookmarksI know that technology is changing the way most people read these days with NOOKs, Kindles, and every other device that allows you to read electronic books, but I refuse to believe that everyone has already abandoned all of their hard copy books.

That being said, bookmarks make it easy (and fun) to keep track of where you are in a book.

Tipnut has complied a list of over 50 DIY bookmark ideas that are sure to spark some inspiration and creativity in you to make your own bookmark.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Love these ideas! I think I’ll try to incorporate some of them as a project in the classroom. The english classes have a book project each quarter and I have always loved taking a day to let my students make their own personalized bookmark for the year. Of course, up to this point they’ve been pretty simple (crayola markers and blank bookmark cards from Wal Mart) but the ideas in your link are inspiring me to do more.

By the way, as attached to my iPad as I have become, I still believe there is nothing like turning the pages of a good book.

    • I think that would be a great idea for your students!
I still firmly believe in holding a hard copy of a good book in my hands too. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one out there!
